Darebin Parklands

Darebin Creek Trail runs through the middle of the park. It offers shared trail access to Bundoora Park, which is 10km to the north.
The park’s features include natural rock formations as well as wetlands, historial Olive tree, Spiritual Healing Trail, huge areas of natural surroundings and more. Tours can be arranged through the Education Centre.
The region was once home to an agricultural dairy as well as a quarry and vineyard. There are numerous areas to explore, and a variety of options for cyclists, walkers, and picnickers.
Activities for recreation include biking or walking dogs off-leash (except 2m on either one side on the pathway). Toilets are available, as well as picnic tables and barbecue facilities are also available.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs should be under effective control using an appropriate chain, cord or leash.

It is located on the Darebin Creek Shared Trail goes to the west and is dotted with water birds around the tiny ponds. There are well-placed seats with excellent views along the trail. The area is susceptible to flooding in heavy rain, so it is best to stay clear of it in wet conditions. There are also rough trails alongside the creek that you can follow, and bridges allow you to traverse between the different parts of the river. There are a variety of maps in the park that outline the various features. There’s a great view point and a spiritual healing trail (brochures were available at the Park Rangers Office).
