A.H.Capp Reserve Playground

This long playground is located between two ovals and has a high fence that protects against a Bradmanesque six to the mid-off.
The tunnel slide is accessed via a huge wooden tower and a climbing wall. Children who are unable to climb the tower can use a rope ladder or a pipe ladder to access the tunnel slide. The tower connects with a lower area near terra firma, where there is less terror and more firmness. This area has a rope climbing frame and monkey bars. It also features a disk traverse, square rung ladder, steps, fireman’s pole, and a ladder.

The area next to it has a basketball court, a wooden “shelter”, standard swings, and birds nest swings. A multi-leg, multi-leg climbing frame with a pipe and a spinning carousel are located at one end. You can either sit on the colourful flower seats or stand next to them (which may be safer for younger children).

There is an outdoor fitness center next to the playground. On both sides, there is a designated off-leash area for dogs. The playground has a number seats, an unshaded table, and a water tap. The Merri Creek Trail is just a few steps from the playground. In 2016, the playground was renovated.
